Fogerty took center stage to sing lead on the Cosmo’s Factory cut “Up Around The Bend” and also delivered a fiery version of “Fortunate Son” from Willy And The Poor Boys.

Billy Joel added to his list of special guests last Thursday during his monthly residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Long Island native teamed with John Fogerty on a pair of Creedence Clearwater Revival classics.

The collaboration helped kick off the back third of Joel’s 20-song main set. Fogerty took center stage to sing lead on the Cosmo’s Factory cut “Up Around The Bend” and also delivered a fiery version of “Fortunate Son” from Willy And The Poor Boys. Joel’s previous MSG guests have included Paul Simon, John Mayer, Steve Miller and Brian Johnson of AC/DC.
