Outside of the two new songs, I'm really looking forward to hearing the version of "Proud Mary." I've always love New Orleans influenced music and I have a feeling this will be a killer cut.

From time to time its fun or nice to listen another singer performing a creedence song but its always the original who is in your heart and you can not deny this fact. Cannot wait for the 2 new songs

I loved this review of the upcoming album from John Fogerty & Friends! One interesting fact about legendary rock songs is the interest that other major artists have in remaking those songs, and retooling them.
A mark of a truly great song is the eagerness of other artists reviving them; it keeps the song alive. John wrote the best of songs; so no wonder there's an album on it's way out.

I am yearning to hear the entire album, and will probably play it over and over all day long.

This is one of those albums that every artist deserves to have.

Way back in 1968 or 1969, John Fogerty got his guitar and strummed up, "Wrote a Song for Everyone." This song flowed out of him so naturally and organically, and I'm sure that while he loved it very deeply, he probably never imagined making an entire album out of his works 40 years later.

Back in the day I spun "Wrote a Song for Everyone" on my little turntable and I loved it because it was such a folksy, lovely song that didn't capture alot of radio airplay, but I didn't care because the song was just so gentle and lovely. John's bluesy vocals captured his moody mood in this song, but I wouldn't say he wasn't depressed.

    "Wrote a song for everyone,
    wrote a song for truth....
Wrote a song for every - one
When I couldn't even talk to you....."
