CCR Reunion - how it can happen
Over the past couple years, John's wonderful wife has been of great creative/managerial assistance to John... she designed the album artwork for BRR Rides Again and Revival, suggested that he record a duets album and Blue Ridge Rangers sequel album, inspired "Broken Down Cowboy," named the "Revival" album, gave John the idea to release the "Long Road Home" concert DVD, suggested that John perform full Creedence albums live in concert, created the concept for the "When Will I Be Loved" music video, suggested that he record with Springsteen and the Eagles, and eased John's tension about the past.
How about she encourages John to reunite with the boys from CCR? John has trusted her judgement very much recently, and it never steered him wrong. If she casually slips that question in amongst their conversations - "so John, I think it would be cool if you played some shows with Creedence" - there's no way that he would say no!
Hey, a guy can dream, right?

I don't see it going in that direction, GD. Mrs. Fogerty knows his heart better than anyone on this beautiful Earth. She knows what gives him joy and what gives him pain.

hi dave
I for one have been banging the drum for a creedence reunion...........sadly i now feel that this is never going to happen, there are a load of long standing creedence fans who for what ever reason never saw the band "live" .........it would be great if john, doug and stu could put there differences behind them and do some concerts.

Re: CCR Reunion - how it can happen
Sorry, but I've never seen the point of a CCR reunion... they haven't played together for over 40 years, they've grown apart both personally as musically, if they were to reunite, they would be the same people, but not the same band... and they would for sure use other musicians on stage, and play the music differently than 40 years ago. So what's the point? Basically just so we can say we saw the 3 guys playing on the same stage at the same time. I guess some fans are still dreaming that a reunion will bring back the magic of Creedence, but Creedence has been dead and buried for a long, long time... luckily we still have John, that's good enough for me.

hi micio
The original members of status quo re -united a couple of months ago after 30 years....they had a bad split but they have talked and now have sold out tour dates in the uk and australia .....with a "live "cd and dvd to come out even the possibility of a new studio set.... there are a lot of bands that have split and have re-united over the years.....most famously the eagles.....the only band or band members that can`t sort out there differences is creedence its sad.!!!!
