Finding Fogerty: Interdisciplinary Readings of John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival

Sun, Dec 16, 2012 at 7:47 PM

I've been shoppin' high and low; wantin' somethin really, really special to give to myself this Christmas and you know what, friends? I do believe that I found my ideal present!!!

It is a really great-sounding book titled, "Finding Fogerty; Interdisciplinary Readings of John Fogerty & Creedence Clearwater Revival." by Thomas M. Kitts.
It sounds very literate, so we should form a book club RIGHT NOW, right here and right now! So we can all first READ this book!
Then come back here and place our commentary.
Then we can pose questions about what we read and have ourselves a fun and rockin' book party, ok? Whaddaya say, y'all???

I say it would be a whole lotta FUN!!!! Oooh, yeah! honey, honey, YEAH!!!

I am trying to copy a pix of the cover of this book, but it's buried in some high-tech sort of folder that I can't figure out. Let me go find my kid to help me figure it out, okay?

Anyhow - nothin' beats this, huh? A scientific based literate and educated book about none other than our number one most favorite and best loved musical giant ever!!!

Get the book, y'all!!! It's not released until January 6th 2012 on Amazon.com but that day will come fast enough.*** HAPPY HOLIDAYS, FOGERTY FANS!!!! ***

There you have the complete table of contents; each chapter has a distinguished author, (for tech difficulties, I could not copy the names down for you.) But that's okay. Just get the book, and you can read it for yourselves.
It sounds like an educated book - y'all buy yourselves a copy of this fine book, ok? Don't you totally deserve it, after all?
I think by the sound of the terminology, the pure intent of this book is extremely favorable towards the musical legacy of John Fogerty.
    It's about time!

    Peace and God bless.

Well, sorr for those who are so enthousiastic but I am sceptic.
This book is made by students if I'm not mistaken. Students who are not John Fogerty fans or CCR fans as far as I know. They had to write something about John so they just searched for some articles on the internet.
My idea is they will be guessing and just write something which will totally not be in the neighborhood of the truth.
will it be fun to read such stuff ? I have my doubts. But as always I could be wrong of course.
I'm more looking forward to the book John is writing himself.

    I'm in. Should be fun.

Can we mail you a copy, Lauratro? Can't be too expensive to mail a book to Argentina?

Thanks for the intention johnnie :), but there are problems acquiring imported goods and I don't know exactly how it works. Hope that John Fogerty's memoir could be released here, but I doubt it.

    Saludos, Lautaro.
