Let it be clear that it was a private concert, not an unannounced appearance (just in case people start complaining)... it would be interesting to know more about this kind of shows, even though they are not meant for the general public.

Steve, they probably don't know the full track listing yet, as John is still working on the album... It's possible, for example, that a couple of the tracks that have been recorded will be dropped from the final album, as also happened with 3 tracks recorded for BRRRA, which didn't make it to the record...

It's a good thing that they haven't released a track listing - this means that there are still more songs being recorded! But I still think that they should throw us fans a bone. We first heard about this record in the summer of 2011, then they announced the release date to be October 2012. Then they postponed it indefinitely. With the holidays coming up, they should strongly consider releasing one of the songs on iTunes or streaming on Soundcloud. There are Facebook photos of John with Bob Clearmountain, so we know some songs have already been mixed and are ready for release. Putting out a single would give fans a taste of what's coming, and still keep them interested in John's music.

And the concert yesterday was at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. Wall Street billionaire hired Robin Williams as master-of-ceremony, John Fogerty as the opening act, and Paul McCartney as the headliner for his 70th birthday party. JohnFogertyTV (the YouTube channel) has some clips from previous private/sponsored performances, if you want a taste of how these things are.

You are right Dan that Rockingrandma is overdue for a Fogery concert.
He has to come to the Chumash because L.A. is getting further away as
we age. What John doesn't realize is that Herm and I are getting older
    while he is getting younger.
If 12 Fabulous Europeans can come to see me then John can come
    100 miles north.
In any case I know our John Fogerty is always working for our benefit with a new
Cd and now a new book. He never disappoints us.

Keep on Rockin John & Julie
