Re: another "live"album
The only way I'd be excited about a live CD is if it contained only those songs that have not been released live. Songs like Crosstie Walker, Penthouse Pauper, Back in the Hills, It Came Out of the Sky, Wrote a Song for Everyone,

When the new website appeared online, there was some talk about the possibility of making the shows available for the fans... I don't know how many fans would be interested in buying a new full price live cd, but I'm sure that live recordings collectors like myself and fans who went to see the shows would be interested in buying (for a decent price) a digital copy of the concerts... some artists already do sell their own live recordings on their website, and it would be cool if John did the same!

I’ve always stood behind the release of all live concerts online. Attendees of the show, or website subscribers, could get/buy a special access code to relive those wonderful memories. As Micio mentioned, BayouLover from the old forum asked us fans if we’d be interested, but that never actually amounted to anything. (see link below for his actual comments)

The only downside, though, is that JF might not have the rights to release some stuff. Over the past couple years, he’s performed classic covers of Summertime Blues, Pretty Woman, Long Tall Sally, Bad Case of Loving You, Blue Moon of Kentucky, When I’m 64, Mean, High Heel Sneakers, and The Promised Land, among others, plus all the CCR and Blue Ridge Rangers (original and sequel) covers. But if copyright issues don’t interfere with the release (and great setlists), John should jump onboard this trend right away.
