It sure was a beatiful evening. All the best to Anne and Micio for the future. Nice to know that they are staying in Oulu, Finland. It was a great honour to play for them and friends at their very special day. It was also nice to meet Petra, Robert and other people..

The wedding was sooooooo übercool!!!

We had about 50 guests, and we had a BBQ at a nice out of town place that we rented, with cool wooden buildings and a big field where people could hang out and/or dance. It was all very informal, no special ceremony, and no tuxedo required! Anne wore a beautiful long dress with a flower motif, and I decided to be totally underdressed for the occasion, as I don't like dressing up and I can do what I want at my own wedding (eheh!): shorts, sneakers, my blue cap and of course a JF t-shirt!

Köpöt Rulez played a LOT of CCR/JF covers, including many that John rarely or ever performs at all... they are a great band and it's for a big part thanks to them if the day became a success! Thanks again, guys!!!

Thanks to everybody who came to party with us or sent us messages and presents (you were all there with us!), we love you! Also, thanks to our friends who helped preparing everything, especially Anne's mom Marja-Liisa, who organized everything perfectly and had quite a few days of too much work and too little sleep, and Anne's dad Osmo, who had to give up a special wish to fix a broken toilet (it's a long story...).

And lastly, a BIG THANKS to John Fogerty, for creating music that really can change people's lives! I guess we can put away the "Almost Married" sign now, and make a new one that will read "Happily Ever After"!!!

Thanks everyone!! I had a great time and I got comments from people that they really enjoyed the party as well, so I guess that's a good sign! :D Multiple people asked me where we got the band from.. And I felt really proud saying "they're our friends" ;)
