Hello from the Fogerty camp!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to introduce myself and tell you about a contest we're running this week. I've recently come on board to help with the forum and all of John's social media sites. I know many of you have been on this board (in one form or another) for years, and I want to thank you for sticking with us. If you have any questions, let me know.

In the mean time, we're running a contest over at John's Facebook page - www.facebook.com/johnfogerty. Two winners will each receive two tickets to the sold out Sound City Players concert next Thursday, January 31st at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Go check it out and good luck!

    Does that ticket include a flight from Europe to the US too ? :-)
    We're certainly happy someone is keeping this forum alive ,
    it's really necessary to give the fans some updates from time to time,
    otherwise some of them won't come back anymore ...

    Nice to have someone on board to keep johns fans up to date with all the latest news........as robert said its important because some fans won`t bother comming back..........Soooo new album info would be nice for starters.!!!! You maybe just what this site needs .......thanks.

    Welcome! Glad to finally have some connections to the Fogerty camp - and more importantly, a good reason for visiting the website every day! Hopefully this increased website involvement will lead to more cool features here - live concert downloads, a revival of the old "VIP" section, a real fanclub.

    Dave, this is exactly what we want to hear. I just started a new thread for recommendations. Check it out here. What would you like to see in the VIP section? In the fan club section? Not sure about live concert downloads but we can definitely look into it. Anything else you can think of?

    Welcome Swamp Girl! My, what a big eye you have! Why does the ticket contest have to be done thru Facebook instead of thru johnfogerty.com? Chickens don't do Facebook.

    This sounds exciting! Live concert downloads would be supercool, I think many fans would be interested in this if the fee is not too high (like $5-10 for a concert).
    About the VIP and fanclub sections, it would be interesting to have stuff like rare/unreleased pictures and videos of John, maybe some excerpts from the new cd. Also it would be nice to have the concert setlists back, some of us (like me... ) like to collect them, and it's really hard to find them online...

    I do know that we're currently working on the set lists. There are a whole bunch of them here, but we're also working on putting the set lists in each show's old tour date here. Working on some other possibilities with the archived dates as well.

    This is great , it`s been so quiet here for a long time now . Anyway , it`s seem to me that Mr Fogerty is a hard working man as usual and have a lot of surprices for us in the nearest future .
