a little help please...

Fri, Sep 14, 2012 at 4:09 AM

On Monday, Sept. 10, 2011, there was a show in Halifax, NS.
My mother bought tickets to the show for my uncle for his 60th birthday as he has been a huge fan for decades, to the point of creating a cover band (many years ago) that ONLY played Creedence songs with Bad Moon Rising being their main theme song.
As you may know, Nova Scotia was hit with a huge storm on that date, with Truro (where my uncle lives) being hardest hit.
My uncle had a choice to make. He could go to the concert and enjoy the music that he loves with a passion live, or stay to help those affected by the storm. Well he put on his rubber boots, and helped those in need.
Uncle Rod has been a volunteer firefighter in Truro for over 20 years (I want to say 30 but I will err on the side of caution) and didn't hesitate when he got the call. People needed to be evacuated, cars were getting flooded with drivers still inside, houses were getting flooded and businesses were under water. Rod was there to help. He didn't even stop helping when his own home was flooding. He waited until he was sure his help was no longer needed by others before going home to take care of his own belongings. Thatès the kind of man my Uncle Rod is.

Here's the what I am asking...
Mr. Fogerty, if you read this, can you please send SOMETHING to my uncle (or mother to give to him) as a token. (there would be a question mark there, but my keyboard isn't being nice today)
It would be greatly appreciated!
I can be reached via e mail at the address i provided with any reply.
Thank you in advance.
A very grateful fan, and an even prouder niece.
