New album delayed...
Just read on John's facebook that the new CD 'Wrote A Song For Everyone' will be released in early 2013... so at least a few months delay. Let's hope it is because he needs more time to record more songs for it!

We had a release date, now we have to wait months for further updates and another release date.

In my opinion this could be john fogertys final studio album.... i hope not would like to see an album of originals, but i just have this feeling.......

It is interesting that on the news page the Rolling Stone part still is there with "(due out October 9th)" and the latest news says nothing about any delay.

Hi all, I'm here again!
It's curious all of this relay... Anyhow, i'm really looking forward to this album! Be able to listen all of that classics from CCR from the studio with the actual band, and the new songs of course! Maybe he's doing a 2 cds album like Mark Knopfler is doing? Hope God listen!
I refuse to think it's the last album from John, I can't imagine that!

Along with Mr. Fogerty and Mr. Buffett, Mr. Knopfler is one of my three favorite musicians/songwriters. Redbud Tree and Privateering sound awesome on Mark's website. Let's hope John is indeed planning a 2 CD album--one of CCR covers with various guest artists and one of original solo material. That would be so cool! But even if it is a single disc, John's new album is going to be fantastic even with a slight delay. I can't wait to hear it!!! But I will wait as long as necessary until John thinks it is ready for release. You just can't hurry perfection. The album will be released when it is ready. -

I couldn't agree with you more or stated it any better. If it were released before it was ready we'd have another HooDoo album on our hands. John will release it when ready and I'm sure we all will be very happy. Be well all. Mike B. -

Of all the songs that John Fogerty has recorded and released, I think that "Back in the Hills" is an absolute hidden gem. The first time I heard that song I was completely blown away. With his increased musicianship as a guitarist, and his top notch band, I'm really hoping to see that song rerecorded one day. If it is on the new CD coming out next year, the delay will have been well worth it.

Back in the Hills is a great tune love the guitar and John's vocals. I often listen to this song it is a hidden gem.
